I have the exact same problem! No matter what I put in for the Nickname, I always get a duplicate!? I even entered 20 random values and I still fail the check.
So you say to send you the account ID, but I can't seem to find it. Where would that be if I can't setup an account??

I can't register my account and therefore cannot use the device.
I keep getting duplicate nickname despite trying multiple nicknames that I can guarantee are unique.
Painfully frustrated and getting no support.
Anyone else have a similar problem or find a solution?
