I have managed now to connect to my NAS server and can see all the music files stored there. However, when I try to play them, the error message shows up "cannot play this song, going to next song". However, the same music files stored on my SSD plays just fine. Where is the difference?

Please check a few things.
1. Did you play NAS music on your Rose device? Or did you play it on the RoseConnect app?
2. If you played on a Rose device, check if it plays normally in RoseConnect.
Conversely, if you played it on the RoseConnect app, check whether it operates normally on the Rose device.
3. Please tell us the NAS model and version you are using.
4. Are there special characters in the NAS folder path and ID/PW?
