Hello, I have tested the CD drive Rose 780A in a Rose RS150B, one CD Pink Floyd, The Dark Side Of The Moom, total tracks 10, 455MB, the results are: Ripping in Isolated mode WAV file type total time 13 mins, 40 seconds, I thinks the very slow timings for ripping is due to CD drive internal speed and also the interconnection USB 2.0 and flash memory connected into USB 3.0 at the Rose RS150B back, I also tested the CD drive Rose 780A in my iMac Studio and works perfectly the result copying the same CD in WAV file type total time in Isolated mode 9 mins 25 seconds and in normal mode 4 mins 55 seconds. Conclusion: I think the slow time for ripping is caused also for the folder destination, in my case USB stick 3.0 250GB capacity, the ripping process is coming from CD drive (USB 2.0, then internal Rose process and finally storing in USB 3.0 stick. I will test with internal SSD soon.
The ripping is taking more time than usual. Use to be average 10mims per CD now is more than 30mins for every ripping of CD. Please advise. Thank you.
