Is there a way to limit the maximum volume om analog output (XLR/RCA)?
This is needed to prevent accidents and damage to the speaker if a kid unfortunately turns the volume to maximum while the RS150B is used as a preamplifier.
Currently, there is no function to set the volume limit range.
But, there is a way to use it after setting it in the pre-out level setting from the OUT PUT Settings.
I understand exactly what you mean, so i will forward your opinions to the person in charge and reflect them.
If you do not change the volume often, it may be helpful to set the desired value in the Pre-Out level setting.
(RS150B > IN/OUT Settings > XLR&RCA menu > Pre-Out Level settings > Apply)
If you set this setting, you can't change volume in RS150B anymore. You will have to change volume with your amplifier.
Thank you for answering.
I’m using it directly into a power amplifier, so there is no other volume control.
If you can ad this feature (max volume), please do so in future update.
Hello HifiRose,
I am having the same request (max volume) as mentioned by Chris - looking at the date that request has been raised, I am wondering whether this function has already been included / or when do you anticipate to have this function available?
The XLR Output is directly going to Avantgarde Acoustic iTron Amplifier!
I'm wondering the same thing as previous ones and want to use RS150 straight to power amplifier and i don't want to see situation when someone accidentaly turns up the volume and breaks the speakers.
