Hi,

I recently purchased the R150B and have a few questions. I have all my songs in my NAS. I have scanned all the songs.

1. How do I select an artist and shuffle all songs within that artist, or play all the songs for that artist

2. How do I select multiple songs for an artist or for an album and add to an existing playlist or create a new playlist?

3. Is there a max. limit on how many songs you can have within a playlist?

Hello.

1. First of all, music files stored in NAS or external hard drives cannot be classified as artists in Rose. If the folders are stored in the NAS by artist, it is possible.

2. In Rose, there is only one way to select one or all songs in an album.
If there are 10 songs in the album, it is not possible to select 2 to 9 songs and save them in the playlist.
So, after moving all the songs in the album to the Playlist, select multiple songs you want to delete from the Playlist and delete them.

3. You can have up to 3000 songs in Queue, and there is no limit for the Playlist.
However, since only up to 3000 songs are stored in the queue, if it is assumed that there are 5000 songs in the Playlist, only 3000 of the 5000 songs will be moved to the queue even if all play is performed.

Thank you for your response.
1. Yes, all my songs are stored in folders by Composer --> Album. I am able to select by album and shuffle or add them. I was thinking if I can select a composer or artist and do the same. If I select a composer by that folder, it will show all the albums within that folder, but I am unable to select multiple albums or albums and add them to a playlist or shuffle.
Please let me know if that is possible. Thanks again for your help.

Also, do you have any instructions on using your app? Seems like it has tons of features, but would be helpful if there is some kind of a cheat sheet to navigate and know the functions.

Hi-
I have the same issue as in the two previous questions. I am new to RS 150B from Sony HAP S2ES which it's possible to select a Play Option based on All Songs, Albums, Artists, Genres, Years & Folders. Evermore, Shuffle & Repeat are functional for all play options provided that all selected media matches the select play option eg. Artists, Albums, Genres, etc.

I think it's be great to add these options to Hi-fi Rose product line.
