I am trying to set up my new RS150B. I was trying to switch output from HDMI to Balanced XLR. I got the pop up and confirmed that I want to change output. Then after a while keep getting the "RS150B DAC is not connected yet" message. I have rebooted the DAC multiple times and even initiated factory reset but the same issue persists. Would appreciate your help. Best.
The reason this message continues to appear even after factory reset is because the RS150b’s built-in DAC is not recognized by the RS150b.
Sorry to tell you this, but it looks like your RS150b’s audio board will need to be replaced.
If it is impossible to check because there is no external USB DAC or the same symptoms do not appear, contact the distributor in the country where you purchased the Rose device and request a repair. It appears to be a problem that requires replacement of the audio board.

Connected the DAC via USB, whilst it detected the DAC, but no sound came.
I have ruled out physical malfunction by connecting different devices to both Audial S5 DAC and Hifirose and both are working.
I sent an email to the DAc manufacturer and his response is as below
"Hello Abinash,
Thanks for your email.
I am sorry to hear about this problem, though, and I am not sure about the cause, but my first thought is that your S5 unit employs four-channel USB firmware, and the streamer possibly can not work with multi-channel devices. Can you check this, please?"
