I have the rs 150b linked directly with XLR to monoblocks power amps pass xa 60.8
So I activated the volume control : nothing beetween 1 and 4, sound starts at 5, and it's way too loud for minimum. Then same level until 14, and increases at 15. I did not try to go further, I don't want to blow up my speakers. The rose is new, so the only source I use is qobuz. I put qobuz volume at -10dB, it's better but still too loud.
I'm sorry my answer was late.
I checked the power amp you are using, but there is no function to adjust the volume.
Software Volume Control is a function used when using digital output.
If the Software Volume Control function is used for analog output, the sound quality may deteriorate, so when using turn it off.
And the volume control table is different, so you can find the adjustable volume you want.
Hello, thank you for your answer.
"Software Volume Control is a function used when using digital output.

So does that mean there is no volume control on analog output over power amps ?
Then why this picture ? Power amps never have volume control, integrated do. If, as in your picture, I use the rs150 with an ethernet cable and a power amp, how do I control volume ?
Thank you.
