Does the 150 allow users to convert analogue signals (say from a turntable or a tape player) to digital so they may be uploaded to connected hard drive, computer or NAS?
Do you mean that you want to record?
RS150B can convert analog to digital and outputs to another DAC.
Doesn't mean that it can record and save it as a file though.
Yes I want to record. I personally have no use for outputting converted files to another DAC. I just would like to be able to convert my analogue materials (records or tapes I own) using the 150, and then save the digital file to either my external USB drive or an internal SSD (if I install one in my 150), so /i can play them, along with my other digital music files, on the 150. I love my Rega P10 turntable, but sometimes I'd just like to play the music w/out using a turntable.
Since you confirmed that the 150 can convert analogue files to digital and then export the digital files to another DAC, why can't it also save those digital files so they could be replayed on the 150? If this is a software limitation, could Rose please add fixing that to your list of future program changes?
