Roon certification for RS130 is currently being delayed.
As Roon is going through the certification process for other audio devices besides the RS130, the time to receive certification is being delayed.
We are continuously dunning. Certification will be completed as soon as possible.
Hi - I just got my RS 130 (in addition to my RS 150). Can you give us a timeline by which the RS 130 will be Roon Ready - as the unit is showing up as “Uncertified”. Roon says a LN uncertified unit should NOT have been released as Roon Ready.
Hifi Rose needs to learn to take responsibility for their ineptitude instead of blaming everyone else. You have made poor foundational technology decisions that have limited their products. You have been blaming Apple for not being able to play Apple Music Hi-res, when it is actually the fact that your OS is based on OLLLLLLDDDDD Android 7 that is the problem. It’s why Fiio, Eversolo, and every DAP maker has full hi-res Apple and you don’t.
I bought this f’n RS130 because it was supposed to be Roon ready. It says “Roon Ready” all over your site, the packaging, and retailer product pages. It’s not ready, and you shouldn’t have shipped it till it was. Says a lot about your integrity.
I might have been able to overlook it for a bit if your app wasn’t a flaming pile of crap sprinkled with “Engrish” and Korean to make it borderline unusable. For $500 it would be unacceptable. Adding a 0 to that makes it criminal. You have had this app out for a few years now. FIX IT. At least make the English in English.
With a slew of new competitors coming out and much lower prices, having a touch screen isn't special anymore. Having a product that works, and has the features advertised is what matters. Fix the app, do what it takes to get Roon Ready, and get Apple Hi-Res support. Or, just go bankrupt.
Hi, I don't feel as negatively strong about Hifi Rose, as the app is pretty entertaining with the videos. But nevertheless, I did buy the RS130 because it was ROON ready. Now finding out it's still waiting for certification is a bummer. I have all my playlist on Roon and don't want to use any other app to play my music.
Please get this resolve. I'm sure this could affect the sales of this unit if people find out before purchasing. I certainly didn't know but would have not purchased if I knew. Still love this unit and it will make it perfect once Roon is certified.
