hi,

just recently purchased RS201E, system updated once connected to internet except the VLC player (rose server connection was normal). also the rose tube was slow and intermittent, with or without the HDMI output

also the VLC cannot be installed and kept indicating update {when you click details you only see stabilization} and wouldnt update. please help

Hello, this is HiFiRose.
Please check these.

1. WIFI or Ethernet is activated (You will see IP address in 'Setting' if it's activated)
2. RS201 -> Setting -> System Info -> System Version Information -> Lastest Version
3. RS201 -> RoseStore -> VLC Player on the last version
4. RS201 -> Video -> Setting -> Use VLC Player -> ON

Also, we have problem with ROSETUBE, that it's unstable. It will be fixed soon.

hi, checked many times. system is latest, using lan and internet setting all showed correct and connected. but VLC not installed. in rose store it said update and review the detail it only said stabilization, if you click update it keeps loading but wont install or update

RS201 -> RoseStore -> update ROSETUBE

for VLC player, would you try this?
RoseStore -> VLC player -> remove update -> update again

hi,

there is no update in the player. its brand new and empty. went to the vendor and tested. the unit was confirmed defective and replaced.
