MQA (Master Quality-Authenticated) is a technology for lossless encapsulation of high resolution sound sources with 16bit / 48kHz data. This technology allows you to save high-definition master recordings using only CD-level storage.
However, listening to the MQA sound source as a high resolution sound source requires a special MQA decoder.
ROSE is currently preparing to play the full decoded MQA sound source and is undergoing a certification test.
The beta version being tested at Rose Cafe has a built-in MQA decoder so you can listen to it in advance.
If you have a Tydal account, we recommend that you listen to the MQA sound on Tidal.
What's the meaning of MQA? Is is lossless?
