We would like to inform you about the firmware version 1.46 update for the RD160 model.
[Improvement]
I2S Input Clock Selection Expansion
Previously, when using the I2S input, only the clock from the I2S input itself could be used. Starting from version 1.46, you can now use the Internal 10 MHz clock as well as External 50/75 Ohm clocks.
The label “Src Clk.” will be changed to “Source.”
[How to update]
1. Save rd160_update-v1.46.zip to the root directory of the USB storage.
2. Connect the USB storage to the rear svc Port of the RD160 using a USB-Type-C adapter.
3. After 10 seconds, when the screen asks whether you want to update the firmware.
4. Select the MUTE button to proceed with the update. It will automatically switch to the update progress screen after 10 ~ 20 seconds.
5. The system will automatically restart after the update reaches 100% (approx. 3 minutes).
[Caution]
1. FAT32 format USB required for update.
2. If your current version is below 1.15, we recommend that you proceed with this update.
- How to check the current RD160 version:
- By pressing the MENU button on the remote, the settings screen will display.
- Go to System Version Information to check the CPU version.
